PREMIER

VICTORIA finish the season on top of the ladder with 175 points and scrapped home against Buninyong, 65-59. Ballarat had a convincing win over Creswick, 99-53, good enough for second overall with 172 points. Webbcona, on 157 points finished third, despite losing to Learmonth, 81-64. Sebastopol kept Learmonth out of the top four by defeating Central Wendouree, 75-72. Sebas finish take the last finals spot on 130 points.

DIVISION 1

City Oval hold first on 214 points and had a good win against Smeaton, 103-80. Linton finished in second on 206 points and defeated Webbcona, 95-84. Midlands secured a one-shot win over Sebastopol, 86-85 and take third with 187 points. They will play Smeaton next week who took in fourth on 148 points.

DIVISION 2

Victoria finish in first with 203 points despite losing by three shots to second placed BMS who closed out the season 198 points. Both teams face off again next week fighting for a spot in the grand final. Ballarat North defeated City Oval, 94-83, and end in third on 179 points. Invermay lost to Ballarat, 123-94, but hold fourth with 173 points.

 

DIVISION 3

Central Wendouree defeated the ladder leaders Bungaree, 100-81 but miss the finals by two points. Creswick had a win against Linton, 97-72, good enough for second. Learmonth lost to Avenue by one-shot yet hold onto third with 182 points. Midlands defeated Smeaton, 113-94, and finish in fourth on 169 points.

 

DIVISION 4

Victoria were too strong for Buninyong, 119-60 and finish top of the table with 217 points. BMS defeated City Oval, 104-79, and end in second on 209 points. Sebastopol defeated Central Wendouree, 103-88 and take third with 193 points. They face City Oval next week who close out the final four on 177 points.

 

DIVISION 5

Victoria end the season with 196 points and in first, they also beat Learmonth, 91-87. Midlands hold second on 181 points despite losing to Creswick, 116-91. Smeaton defeated City Oval, 100-97, and finish in third with 179 points. They’ll face Creswick next week who finished in fourth on 177 points.

 

DIVISION 6

BMS finish top with 214 points and defeated Central Wendouree, 95-73. Ballarat North downed Sebastopol, 120-69 and closed out second on 200 points. Bungaree defeated Clunes, 98-85, and end in third at 181 points. Clunes sneak into fourth on percentage over Central Wendouree. Both finished on 153 points.

 

DIVISION 7

Linton end on top with 222 points. Ballarat defeated Victoria, 115-63, and take second with 218 points. Buninyong were too strong for Midlands, 131-68, and finish third on 168 points. Ballan hold onto fourth despite losing to Mount Xavier, 92-68.

 

DIVISION 8

Waubra end the season in first place with 165 points and defeated Smeaton, 60-42. Daylesford beat Ballarat North, 56-45 and take second with 159 points. Ballarat North drop down to third on 154 points, beating Central Wendouree on percentage as they complete the top four positions.
