Sebas down with Mondayitis

THE first game of the year in Monday Pennant saw many changes in ladder positions, as well as some very close results.

PREMIER

Central Wendouree travelled to Avenue and earned maximum points to advance one position up the ladder to be in fifth position. Sebastopol went down by six shots to Midlands and have slipped from third spot to seventh. Next round they will meet BMS who are second. BMS went down to Creswick by 28 shots. Top four are BMS, Buninyong, City Oval and Midlands.

 

DIVISION 1

Closest match of the day was between third placed Smeaton who had a four-shot win over bottom of the ladder Buninyong. Biggest win went to Central Wendouree who took all rinks in their 48-shot win over Avenue. They have advanced two spots to be in fifth position. Top four is Victoria, Webbcona, Smeaton and City Oval.

 

DIVISION 2

Daylesford had a two-shot win over City Oval, the top four in this Division are Smeaton, Central Wendouree, Learmonth and Linton. Ladder leader Smeaton meet third placed Learmonth in what should be the match of the round.

 

DIVISION 3

Central Wendouree scored a two-shot win over fourth placed Victoria, this was the closest match of Round 12. Top four is Webbcona, Creswick, Central Wendouree and Victoria.

 

DIVISION 4

Linton and Daylesford played a thriller with Linton finishing one-shot up. Buninyong 1 and Central Wendouree also played a close match with Central Wendouree finishing in front by four shots.   Ladder is Ballarat North, Bungaree, Creswick and Clunes. Ballarat North play Creswick next round in what should be a good game.
