Sebas sets up final encounter with the Vics

PREMIER – Victoria will play Sebastopol in the top-level Ballarat District Bowls Division grand final on Sunday, after Sebas beat Ballarat, 86-70. The final is being played on Sunday to encourage spectators to come and watch the Premier Division.

Greg Stewart’s rink in Ballarat’s Premier Division semi-finals was able to win their battle but his side lost the war.

DIVISION 1 – City Oval and Midlands had a close match. It came down to the last end with City Oval securing the victory by one-shot. They will play Linton next week.

DIVISION 2 – Ballarat North upset BMS winning three rinks, 104-94. They advance to the final and will play Victoria, who have had a great season.

DIVISION 3 – Creswick were too strong for Learmonth winning, 104-86. They will play Bungaree next week.

DIVISION 4 – City Oval had a battle against BMS. In the last few ends they took the lead winning, 84-72. City Oval will play Victoria for the big one.

DIVISION 5 – Victoria overpowered Creswick securing another spot in the grand final. They will play against Midlands.

DIVISION 6 – Bungaree squashed BMS’ last chance in the finals, winning, 87-76. They will now face Ballarat North who are in good form.

DIVISION 7 – Buninyong showed up full of determination and comfortably defeated Linton, 107-70. They will need to bring the same energy next week when they face Ballarat.
