Tigers triumphant, Bombers bounce

August 27, 2019 BY

Top Tiger: It was a good week for Springbank, and gun forward Cynna Kydd, with the club progressing through to the CHNL A Grade preliminary finals and Kydd picking up the league’s top level best and fairest medal. Photo: ALISTAIR FINLAY

PRELIMINARY finals in the Central Highlands Netball League A Grade are set after Springbank overcame a spirited challenge from Bungaree, and Buninyong, fresh off a loss to the Lakies a week earlier avoided a straight sets exit and put out Rokewood-Corindhap in the semis.

The results mean the Tigers will take on the undefeated Learmonth and Bombers will face off against Hepburn. All games are set for Buninyong Recreation Reserve.

In other CHNL news, Springbank power forward Cynna Kydd claimed the A Grade best and fairest medal. It’s the second time Kydd has claimed the comp’s top individual honour.
