PREMIER

THERE was movement in the top five positions last round with Victoria’s win over Sebastopol, 78-68, putting them in first place. Ballarat suffered a one-shot loss to Mt Xavier, 64-63, and slide down to second. Webbcona defeated Central Wendouree, 80-59, and move into third. Learmonth had a win against BMS, 81-71, and Creswick defeated Buninyong 73-64.

DIVISION 1

Unlike Premieres there is no movement in the top four positions in this division and City Oval are still the ladder leaders defeating Avenue, 97-81. Midlands had a strong win against Linton, 117-74, as did Waubra over Sebastopol, 102-87. Ballarat East had a win over Webbcona, 97-90, and Smeaton had a close victory over Beaufort, 87-83.

DIVISION 2

Again, no movement in the top four positions. Victoria had a comfortable win against Ballarat, 99-74, and hold top spot. Invermay were too strong for BMS, 111-67. Ballarat North defeated Clunes, 92-71. Buninyong were victors over Daylesford, 105-72. Ballarat won City Oval 110 – 99.

 

DIVISION 3

Bungaree stay ladder leaders after defeating Avenue, 104-89. Creswick hold second on the back of a win over Sebastopol, 110-73. Learmonth proved to strong defeating Smeaton, 120-67.  Central Wendouree had a comfortable win against Webbcona, 131-86, and Midlands also proved too strong for Linton, 101-65.

 

DIVISION 4

BMS retain top spot after defeating Avenue, 125-62. Victoria beat second-place Sebastopol, 96-77. City Oval had a win over Mt Xavier and jump into third. Buninyong won at home to Daylesford in a close battle, 86-81 and Central Wendouree defeated Webbcona, 111-82.

 

DIVISION 5

Midlands jump into first spot following a win over Ballarat East, 114-68. Victoria move into second by defeating Sebastopol, 118-85. Creswick caused an upset on the road in Waubra, 88-80, pushing Waubra down two places into third. City Oval had a comfortable win over Learmonth, 103-88, as did Smeaton defeated Beaufort 104-75.

 

DIVISION 6

BMS are still the ladder leaders despite their loss to Bungaree, 101-87. Bungaree move into second. Ballarat North proved too strong against Webbcona, 135-75 and move into third. Invermay defeated Central Wendouree, 95-87, pushing Central Wendouree down two places into fourth. Victoria had a win over Sebastopol, 105-82 and Clunes defeated City Oval, 106-81.

 

DIVISION 7

Linton defeated Buninyong, 99-70 and stay atop the ladder. Ballarat had a bye and hold second. Ballan beat BMS, 106-93, and hold third position. Victoria’s win over Sebs, 106-93, sees them jump up two spots into fourth. Mt Xavier defeated Midlands, 110-69.

 

DIVISION 8

Daylesford proved way too strong for Bungaree, 71-25, and hold top position. Ballarat North defeated Waubra, 55-40, jumping into second and pushing Waubra into third. Smeaton had a good win over Buninyong, 58-36, and Learmonth scraped home against Central Wendouree winning by three shots, 46-43.
