PREMIERS

REALISTICALLY there are five teams fighting for fourth position on the ladder, with 15 points separating them. Victoria and Creswick drew, 75-75, which was enough to put the Vics on the top. Ballarat’s loss to Webbcona, 81-73, sees them slide down to second position and Webbcona up into third. Learmonth had a one-shot win against Sebastopol, 76-75. Buninyong defeated BMS by two, 79-77, and Mount Xavier proved too strong for Central Wendouree, 85-60.

Ladder leaders City Oval had a draw against Webbcona, 91-91. Linton defeated Beaufort, 111-70, and hold second. Midlands stay third place beating Waubra, 97-91. Smeaton had a strong win against Sebastopol, 96-79, and Avenue won comfortably against Ballarat East, 116-69.

With only two rounds left it’s safe to say top four are clear, what’s not confirmed is the order they’ll finish in. Victoria were too strong for Daylesford, 115-61. City Oval had a comfortable win against Buninyong, 102-77. Invermay defeated Clunes, 90-78. BMS had a good win over Ballarat North, 91-79 and Ballarat defeated Ballan, 96-75.

Bungaree remain on top after beating Sebastopol, 93-78. Creswick hold on to second place despite losing to Midlands, 118-64. Learmonth had a strong win against Webbcona, 103-74 and hold third. Central Wendouree defeated Smeaton, 107-92 and move up a spot. Linton won over Avenue, 102-73.

Victoria take over first on the ladder with a strong win against Daylesford, 124-61. BMS move down into second, losing in a close game against Buninyong, 105-101. Sebastopol proved too strong for Avenue, 121-67. City Oval had a tight game defeating Central Wendouree, 96-84. Mount Xavier beat Webbcona, 105-85.

Midlands stay on top despite losing to City Oval, 99-89. Victoria scrapped home against Waubra, 109-105, holding second. Creswick defeated Beaufort, 102-94 and move up into third. Smeaton snuck home against Sebastopol, 107-102. Learmonth were too strong defeating Ballarat East, 169-54.

BMS defeated Waubra, 128-66 and remain in first. Ballarat North had a close game against Bungaree, 97-91 and retain second. Central Wendouree, despite losing to Victoria, 100-82, move up into third. Clunes were too strong for Invermay, 114-63. City Oval had a good win against Sebastopol, 119-61.

Linton were too strong for Sebastopol winning, 145-68. Ballarat had a good win over Midlands, 133-70, and hold second. Ballan despite losing to Buninyong, 97-89, return third with Buninyong only three points behind. BMS defeated Victoria, 109-89 and Mount Xavier had a bye keeping them in the mix for finals

Daylesford stay top despite losing to Waubra, 77-26. Ballarat North was given a walkover by Ballarat. Central Wendouree defeated Smeaton, 52-43. Learmonth had a win against Buninyong, 49-31, and Bungaree had a bye.
