Nighttime Nostalgia: The History of a Showgirl

From vaudeville and cabaret to burlesque’s modern-day reinvention, five internationally acclaimed performers pay homage to real life burlesque icons, exploring the rowdy history of striptease and showcase the colourful, hilarious and somewhat tender history of the showgirl. The Still Point – Bijou Lily and Kojiro Oishi

Featuring local photographers Bijou Lilly and Kojiro Oishi, this exhibition at Lone Goat Gallery incorporates a series of images inviting viewers to reconsider the landscapes that are often overlooked. Bijou Lily is an artist and photographer whose explores the intersection of rural life and wilderness. Kojiro Oishi is a Japanese-born photographer and visual artist whose self-taught analogue practice has centred on traditional darkroom techniques and black-and-white photography since the mid-1990s. Australian Longboard Titles 2026

The 2026 Australian Longboard Titles will take place on the Tweed Coast, featuring top surfers across divisions from Under 18s to Over 70s. Held at iconic surf spots including Cabarita Beach and Kingscliff, the event acts as a key qualifier for ‘The Irukandjis’ Australian National Surfing Team.
