Celebrating 5 years of enjoying retirement
The Bellarine Peninsula’s premier retirement community is turning five, and everyone is invited to come celebrate at a complimentary family fun day.
If you’re considering retirement, this is a great opportunity to experience the community and to see just how good life can be at Bellarine Springs in Drysdale.
At the fifth birthday celebrations, to be held later this month, you can enjoy:
An array of entertainment for the whole family
- A sausage sizzle
- Barista-made coffee
- Browse artisan market stalls
- Wine tastings and cooking demonstrations
- A stroll through the community and its landscaped gardens
- Explore the new display unit and all available homes.
“We’ve got brand new homes that have just been completed and are
ready to move into now,” Bellarine Springs marketing manager Cameron Punnett said.
Purchasers will also not have to pay stamp duty on their home.
Mr Punnett said construction was about to start on stage 6 at the retirement community, which would provide another 13 new houses before the end of this year.
“They are ready to buy off the plan now and, if you buy now, you can have the option to choose some of the inclusions to make your house your own.”
People can also discover the range of social activities and amenities during the family fun day.
Mr Punnett said the Bellarine Springs team and the whole retirement community were looking forward to the celebrations.
“We’ve had residents who have been with us throughout the whole five years – who bought nearly seven years ago, when we started to sell, and moved into their homes once they were built.
“It’s a really bustling community and it’s an established village now.
“The community is younger, it’s 55-plus; people who are wanting to downsize and not have maintenance on a house, and to be able to lock up and leave and travel when they can.
“Our community has a more vibrant and young-at-heart feel than some of the other communities, which is fantastic – it’s a truly great place to call home.”
Located on Central Road, the Bellarine Springs retirement community has views over Port Phillip Bay from the community centre, is located close to all local amenities, and is only a 15-minute drive to Geelong.
