Bombers hit the Bellarine

DEDICATED fans turned out at Ray Menzies Oval in Ocean Grove last week to get a glimpse of their mighty Bombers in action.

Young and old decked out in the red and black attended Essendon’s open training session on Friday, which concluded with a quick player signing and fan engagement.

The training session on Friday rapt up a quick stay on the Bellarine for the AFL club, who had arrived in Barwon Heads on Tuesday.

The group completed all the normal and scheduled training requirements at the Ocean Grove oval, in and around some other activities in the region.

The club also used the week to spend some time together on the Bellarine and explore all the area had to offer, including golf, surfing at 13th Beach, visiting a few wineries and the local beaches and shops.
