SOUTH Barwon inflicted the first loss upon North Geelong in the Geelong Cricket Association first division, getting home in a thrilling two-run victory.

A brilliant 111 from Josh Larkin helped Highton to 9-227 against Leopold. Ben Horne took 5-51.

Leopold fell well short, all out for 152 as Larkin capped a dominant day, taking 4-19.

Lara defeated St Joseph’s by three wickets, reeling in Joey’s 8-171 in the 37th over.
