ADF career centre to visit Geelong this week

THE Australian Defence Force (ADF) is looking for new recuits locally, with its Mobile ADF Careers Centre) visiting Geelong for the next three days.

The MACC provides the opportunity for those interested in a career in the ADF to meet with career specialists and discover the variety of roles available in the Navy, Army and Air Force.

The ADF describes itself as “offering a rich blend of career and lifestyle opportunities, subsidised housing and medical support, rewarding well-paid work, memorable experiences, world-class training and job security”.

The MACC will be open on:

• Monday, December 1 from 11am 5pm at Royal Geelong Showgrounds, 79 Breakwater Road (online bookings and walk-in visits)
• Tuesday, December 2 from 9am to 4pm at Royal Geelong Showgrounds, 79 Breakwater Road (online bookings and walk-in visits) and from 6pm to 8pm at Rydges Geelong, Myers Street & Gheringhap Street (information session), and
• Wednesday, December 3 from 9am to 4pm at Royal Geelong Showgrounds, 79 Breakwater Road (online bookings and walk-in visits).
