Geelong Divisional Response Unit detectives have arrested a man after an alleged stolen vehicle was involved in a head-on collision in Lara on Thursday morning.
Police allege an aggravated burglary occurred in Newcomb shortly after 7am, during which an MG was stolen.

Emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the stolen MG, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital for observation under police guard.
The female driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A third vehicle was also damaged in the collision. Its male driver was not injured.
