After an unexpected pause during a packed Taco Tuesday service, North Geelong favourite MexiCams is back and ready to turn up the heat again.

MexiCams will reopen its doors on Friday 15th May with a full weekend of food, drinks and late-night karaoke and games.

To thank guests for their patience and support, the team is marking the reopening with a weekend that feels more like a celebration than a comeback.

After dinner, Friday night kicks off with a live DJ from 9pm and 2-for-1 drink specials. Plus live music from Levi Anderson will be on across the whole weekend.

MexiCams will be on tour next weekend, catering the epic Lucha Fantastica Wrestling event at the Geelong West town hall.

Known for its bold, Mexican-inspired offering, the kitchen leans into big flavours and share-style dining. Settle in for light snacks and drinks with tacos & totopos, or dig into a Mexican feast. Either way the MexiCam’s menu is designed for anything from date nights to big groups.

MexiCams is more than just a restaurant. It’s a full night out. Alongside the food and drinks, guests can book private karaoke booths, electronic shuffleboard, augmented reality dart boards, and bowling lanes, all under one roof.

The mix of dining and entertainment has made MexiCams a go-to for group catch-ups, celebrations and last-minute nights out, and the reopening weekend is expected to fill quickly.

“We had an incredible response from our guests on the night and in the days following,” the team said. “There’s a real connection to the venue, and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back.”

Bookings are strongly recommended across the reopening weekend, particularly for Friday night, with limited capacity expected across both dining and entertainment spaces. Bookings can be made through the MexiCams website.
