DTC is your home for school holiday fun

September 7, 2022 BY

All the wonders of liquid nitrogen will be on show.

Art, magic, science and more make Delacombe Town Centre the place to be this September

The Amazing Barry is set to wow with his always popular roving magic show.

DELACOMBE Town Centre will be abuzz with fun and free activities for the kids during the upcoming spring school holidays.

Visitors to DTC can get creative with the Plaster Fun House pop-up, back on weekdays.

There is also a colouring competition running throughout the holidays, with colouring sheets available from stores throughout the centre, or downloadable from the centre website.

The Amazing Barry will be at the centre from 10.30am on Tuesday 20 September with his popular roving magic show and budding scientists can be wowed at an incredible liquid nitrogen science show – with a special surprise at the end, on Wednesday 28 September.

Face painting is always super popular with the little ones and DTC’s favourite face painter, Tania, will be providing free face painting for two hours, starting from 10.30am, on Wednesday, 21, Monday, 26 and Thursday, 29 September.

Centre Manager at Delacombe Town Centre, Sonja Wheaton, said the action-packed calendar of events signals a return to fun community events at DTC.

“All of us here at DTC have always prided ourselves on offering a community hub, and a destination meeting place, for friends in the area,” she said.

“We’re excited to welcome kids, and their families, to the centre during their school holiday break, in a format that is affordable and accessible to all.”

Kids will be transformed with free facepainting.
