TO create connection is the aim of The Wedding Showcase at Bannockburn Shire Hall on Sunday 2 August.

Organiser Anne Finch said the boutique expo will bring together local businesses in a welcoming environment.

“Unlike a large wedding expo, couples have opportunity to take their time, ask questions, explore ideas and have genuine conversation with local business owners,” she said.

“It’s about creating connection rather than simply collecting brochures.”

Blend’d wellness coaching supports couples in achieving their health and wellness goals so they can feel confident and energised leading up to their wedding.

Donna’s Desserts is a sweet treat caterer, while Luxury Journeys specialises in personalised honeymoons and gift registries.

“When couples first start planning, they naturally focus on booking their venue, celebrant and photographer,” Finch said.

“We wanted to highlight some other businesses that help complete the experience, from feeling your best, to creating memorable moments for guests, through to planning the perfect honeymoon.”

Finch, owner of Blend’d, said the businesses shared similar values such as creating meaningful experiences for clients.

“Rather than working independently, we saw an opportunity to collaborate and create something unique for couples in our region,” she said.

Finch said the showcase would give couples the chance to meet three local businesses in one place.

Complimentary gift bags will be available, which will include offers and information from other local venues, photographers, florists and DJs.

“Couples are increasingly looking for personalised experiences and genuine recommendations,” Finch said.

“Boutique showcases offer a more relaxed alternative to large expos, allowing people to build relationships with local businesses and make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed.”

The free showcase will be held at 12 High Street from 10am to 2pm.
