Groups supported with grants
A DOZEN community groups and non-profits are being supported to deliver their projects thanks to grant funding from Golden Plains Shire.
The recipients in the latest round of the municipality’s Community Strengthening Grants were announced last week, with groups to share in a $75,000 funding pool.
Golden Plains Shire CEO, Shane Walden, said the program is all about helping the region’s groups achieve their goals to benefit the community.
“Council’s Community Strengthening Grants Program is an important initiative that is highly valued,” he said.
“Over the past 27 years it has enabled the delivery of a variety of excellent projects for the Golden Plains Shire community.
“Congratulations to the successful groups who have been awarded grant funding to support their projects and initiatives.”
