Big turnout for little church

ABOUT one-hundred people attended the recent auction of the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Lexton.

Auctioneer Chris Leonard had his work cut out for him with five bidders going back-and-forth with 36 bids.

The historic property finally sold for $165,000, well above the $120,000 reserve, to buyers from Melbourne.
