THE Barn Pet Stock and Feed hosted the first Gobbledegook and Gibberish Art Festival last Sunday.
A feature of event was the launch of local author Alyce Elmore’s latest novel, For Where There Are Harps.
The novel is the third in a series by Elmore.
“I was thrilled to launch my novel on such an incredible day of art, music and literature supported by William and Sharon Greenfield at The Barn Pet Food and Feed store,” said Elmore.
“They have been very supportive of my writing, and it was a fitting place to launch it.

“I was also pleased to have many of my writing friends in attendance including local poets who entertained us with some of their creations.
“Food trucks, snow cones, an SES sausage sizzle, musicians and a local winery added to the entertainment provided by the poets.”
Elmore’s fans were excited to hear that her trilogy is now set to be a series as she has committed to writing three more novels in her series about the women of post-apocalyptic Victoria.
“I had some terrific feedback, and many suggested I should keep writing the story,” she said.
“So, I have committed to writing three more novels and hope to have the next one completed in time for the next Gobbledegook and Gibberish planned for September.”
