Art Op Shop to be launched

Naracoorte Regional Gallery is launching a new concept this Sunday as they open an Art Op Shop that will run until December 17.

If you have artworks you have fallen out of love with or unwanted wedding present or a painting Great Aunt Annie left you in her will, this is an opportunity to let the experts at the Naracoorte Regional Gallery take care of the sale for you. They will sell the art on your behalf, taking 15 percent commission and there is a limit of 10 items per person but as an item sells you can replace it.

The gallery will accept original artwork only including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography and textiles. No reproduction prints will be accepted. Items need to be dropped off November 25 and 26 between 9am and 5pm with all payments to be made prior to January 30.
