Forster takes the win

STABLEFORD 2nd Round (MAY 20)(Sponsored by Hudson Plumbing & Roofing)

Forty ladies played in great weather with the course playing long after all the previous rain and quite difficult pin positions. This did not bother a few of the ladies who still scored well on the day.

Division 1:

Winner:Karen Forster 39 points on a countback. Karen had a great back nine scoring 22 points and had seven pars on the day.

Runner Up:Helen Gregory 39 points. Helen scored five pars overall and scored 22 point on the front nine. She just proved that you can have a bad day at golf with nine down and then four days later end up with 39 points! Those new clubs are working well.

Division 2:

Winner:

Susan Ryan with a great score of 40 points which was the best on the day. Sue has recently returned from holidays and played well scoring 21 points on the front and 19 on the back.

Runner Up:

Chris Morrison 38 points. Chris birdied the 6th hole scoring two for 5 points but had a better back nine overall and ended up with 22 points on that nine.

Congratulations to Jennifer Van Rijthoven who had an eagle on the 17th hole with a great shot out of the bunker into the hole!

Twenty-one ladies played and the weather was very cold but fortunately only a few drops of rain not like the previous week.

Winner:

Mardi Goodes with a great round of 40 points. Mardi scored seven pars on the day with five on the front nine but ended up with 20 points on each nine.

Runner Up:

Mary Jane Smith 38 points. Mary Jane is one of our new lady members and great to see she is up on the winning list already.
