Have your say on future plan

THE Limestone Coast Landscape Board works to secure a thriving landscape for the Limestone Coast by working with land managers, community and the next generation.

Limestone Coast Landscape Board chair Dr. Penny Schulz is encouraging community members to comment on the draft Limestone Coast Regional Landscape Plan 2026–31 and help shape the board’s strategic direction.

“You might have heard of the Limestone Coast (LC) Landscape Board through its work in eradicating feral deer, controlling African lovegrass and offering grants to landholders for conservation work,” Dr Schulz said. “You might even know that the LC Landscape Board educates over 3000 children, youth and community members in environmental and land management every year. But did you know that we also lead important initiatives to support sustainable land management?

“The Limestone Coast Regional Landscape Plan 2026-31 drives the strategic direction of the LC Landscape Board for the next five years. We need to hear from the community to make sure we have the right priorities to support the landscape to thrive and enable the social, economic and environmental aspirations of our region.”

The draft Limestone Coast Regional Landscape Plan 2026-31 is now open for feedback. Help guide the work of the Limestone Coast Landscape Board by commenting on the draft Plan.
