RAY White Mt Gambier | Robe | Penola has a proud history of giving back to the community, and their latest initiative already looks like a winner.

Ray White Operations & Marketing Manager Bella Calderwood said the Ray White Coffee Club, which officially launched last month, is designed to support both local residents and the small businesses that anchor the region.

“We really wanted to do something special for the community,” Bella said. “This initiative is our way of paying it forward and giving back to the incredible local gems that make our region so special. What could be better than teaming up with a local business to give back to them and the community at the same time.”

The concept is simple on the last Friday of each month, the Ray White team heads to a local café and hands out 50 free coffees. The goal is to provide a “caffeine hit” for the community – especially for those for whom a café coffee might be a luxury, while showcasing the unique stories of local businesses.

The first event at Confession Coffee House was embraced by the community, with the Ray White team and Confession team welcoming a sea of smiling faces.

“Some of the businesses are also going to match us. We gave away 100 coffees in around 40 minutes, which was really cool,” Bella said. “Being a Friday, there is a great vibe. We saw people there in groups and others buying coffees for their colleagues to share the love.”

Beyond the caffeine, Ray White is looking to deepen these community ties even further. The team will soon be launching a podcast to showcase the stories of local people and businesses, providing a platform for the voices that shape our district.

The next Coffee Club will be held on Friday March 27th at Bay Blue from 10am – 11am. To stay up to date with upcoming locations and full event details, be sure to follow the Ray White Mt Gambier social media pages.
