LEGO lovers converge on Mount Gambier

Mount Gambier’s iconic LEGO® fan event BrickGambier has again enjoyed a successful two days at the weekend with more than 40 exhibitors showcasing their work at the Mount Gambier Showgrounds.

More than 1500 visitors streamed through the impressive displays for what was the seventh BrickGambier event.

Intricately created townships; time honoured train set ups; themed displays including Harry Potter; Star Wars and other movie and book tributes all proved popular.

Exhibitors cam from as far away as Tasmania, with local, Melbourne and Adelaide making up the majority of the exhibitors, while plenty of Western Victorian visitors made the trek to the two day event to check out the creations.

The event always doubles as a fundraiser for a local cause and this year almost $2000 was raised for the Mount Gambier Royal Flying Doctor Service Support Group.
