JORDAN Williams pulled on the Tiger guernsey for his 150th A grade game a fortnight ago.

Jordan played all his junior football at Tantanoola, collecting early accolades including the 2004 Junior Colts Coach’s Trophy and the 2005 Runner Up Best & Fairest.

Stepping up to Senior Colts, he continued to impress—finishing Runner Up Best & Fairest in 2007, before a standout 2008 season where he claimed the Senior Colts Best & Fairest, Leading Goal Kicker and made his senior debut.

Transitioning into the senior ranks, Jordan became one of the club’s most consistent and reliable performers.

Across the early part of his senior career he earned several honours, including the A Grade Most Improved in 2010 and 2013, along with the A Grade Coach’s Trophy in 2012.

His professionalism and high standards were recognised again when he claimed back to back A Grade Best & Fairest Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Jordan spent several years away from the club, where he added a premiership with West Gambier to his football résumé, returning to Tantanoola this year, which has been a huge boost—bringing experience, leadership and a willingness to pass on his knowledge to the next generation of Tigers.
