Strong results for 2025 cohort
THE wait is finally over for the Tenison Woods College Class of 2025, with the release of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) results.
At Tenison Woods College, fourteen students achieved an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) greater than 90 and the College Dux prize for 2025 was awarded to Jolie Vaughan with an outstanding ATAR result of 98.75.
Reflecting on her achievement, Jolie said she was thrilled with the outcome and grateful for the support she received throughout her schooling. “I’m incredibly happy and honestly, it’s exceeded my expectations,” Jolie said.
“Receiving a merit for English was a really proud moment for me. I’ve found all of my teachers to be so supportive throughout my time at school, which has made a huge difference.”
Looking ahead, Jolie hopes to study Speech Pathology at Adelaide University in 2026 and will be living at Aquinas College as she takes the next step in her academic journey.

Seven Tenison Woods College Year 11 students gained an A in the Year 12 subject that they completed in 2025. This is an outstanding effort from this cohort, showing their commitment to their studies and we look forward to their further success in 2026.
Tenison Woods College Principal, Mr David Mezinec, said the 2025 results reflected the diverse ways students have progressed through their final year of schooling, with Jolie, a student from the College also recognised as Dux of the Region.
“It is pleasing to see many students achieve outcomes that align with their individual goals and, in many cases, exceed their own expectations,” Mr Mezinec said. “These results reflect the commitment of our students, the support of our staff and a continued focus on personalised learning pathways.”
Mr Mezinec said student success extends beyond academic results alone.
“While ATARs are an important outcome for some students, they are not the only measure of achievement,” he said. “Alongside academic results, 31 per cent of our Year 12 students completed a Certificate II or Certificate III, and 10 per cent secured a school-based apprenticeship or a part-time or full-time apprenticeship or traineeship.”
He said these outcomes reflect the College’s broader purpose.
“Whatever a student’s aspirations Tenison Woods College prepares them well to be citizens for the world because at Tenison Woods College every learner has a place, every learner has a pathway and every learner will shine. That is our daily challenge and our daily celebration.”
