Sally O'Connor working on new podcast

HOLDFAST Limestone Coast Inc. aims to increase community awareness and education at a local level, of the importance of algae (seaweed) on the Port MacDonnell (Ngaranga) coastline in the South East of South Australia.

The collective has so often spread the message via their artistic pursuits and now they have branched out into the world of podcasting with the launch of a six-part Seaweed Connection Podcast highlighting, among a range of topics, the diverse role and the value algae plays in our marine ecology and community.

The podcast series was produced by Tim Stent and made possible thanks to a Stand Like Stone Foundation grant.

Holdfast Limestone Coast Inc founding member Sally O’Connor was encouraging locals and visitors alike to tune in.

“We would like to encourage people to tune in to our podcasts during their travels over the festive period,” Sally said.
