Arcare is centred around the needs of the resident, based on open communication. BELOW: Arcare has two locations on the Bellarine, welcoming residents in Portarlington and Point Londsdale.

Arcare believes every Australian elder is extraordinary. That’s why for more than 40 years, Arcare has been creating extraordinary places, featuring stunning architecturally designed living environments, beautiful suites and spacious courtyards.

The residences have won several design awards and continue to set the standard for quality age care.

At the heart of every Arcare is a care model, centred on the needs of the resident. This is based on open communication between the resident, their family and their dedicated carer. This type of interaction creates strong friendships bounded on trust. They call this their Relationship-First Approach, which has been designed to support good health and well-being so that residents can live their best life.

Every Arcare residence has an extensive lifestyle program, offering a vast array of activities designed to invigorate and entertain. This may include painting, tips on technology or mornings of discovery in nearby attractions.

Mealtime is a favourite, with delicious and fresh, chef prepared meals featuring a menu that’s constantly changing in accordance to taste, and seasonal ingredients.

The Bellarine Peninsula boasts two Arcare residences:

Arcare Portarlington

A short walk from the main street and magnificent views of Port Phillip Bay, with a community that’s warm and welcoming.

Residents who hail from Portarlington, Drysdale, Clifton Springs and Ocean Grove come together to watch films in their gold class style cinema, go on outings across the Bellarine Peninsula and tend to vegetable and flower gardens in the courtyard.

With 100 spacious suites, Arcare Portarlington features a variety of spaces with something for everyone.

Arcare Point Lonsdale

Arcare Point Lonsdale is just a two-minute drive from the beach and cosy cafés of Point Lonsdale.

Like its’ sister residence in Portarlington, Arcare Point Lonsdale enjoys a fun and friendly community feel with residents who are originally from Point Lonsdale, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Clifton Springs and Newtown.

Together they enjoy barista made coffees in their own café, a min-gym, a mix of activities both inside and out, private dining with friends and family or just kicking back and watching a favourite Foxtel show in their private suite.

Arcare Point Lonsdale is made up of 90 suites all of which include their own ensuite, flat screen TV, courtyard access and individual heating and colling system.
