ONE of Torquay’s favourite Esplanade establishments has become a hotspot of a different kind after the Department of Health listed several Tier 1 exposure sites to the state’s list late yesterday (Tuesday, October 12).

All-day seaside café and restaurant Bomboras, located at 37 The Esplanade, was one of the nine inclusions at 10.47pm.

Given its Tier 1 status, anyone who attended the venue between 11.50am and 12.50pm on October 6 must immediately get tested and quarantine for 14 days, regardless of the result.
