Enrol to learn, graduate to lead
A structured, research-informed curriculum supports students to build confidence, develop critical thinking and thrive in their learning.
SAINT Ignatius College, located on the Bellarine Peninsula, is a co-educational Catholic college offering outstanding educational opportunities to young people in a positive and caring Christian community in the Ignatian (Jesuit) tradition.
Saint Ignatius College commenced its Jesuit Partnership in 2007, with the clear purpose of an Ignatian education being the development of a well-rounded Christian person of competence, conscience, compassion and commitment, who will be of service in the local community and beyond.
Central to an Ignatian education is a commitment to faith that does justice; awareness of the needs of others and a readiness to place one’s talents at their service; personal concern for the whole life of each student; development of a broad education; emphasis on critical thinking and effective communication; striving for excellence and a philosophy that emphasises actions rather than words.
Saint Ignatius College provides students with a contemporary, connected and intentional education that prepares them for a rapidly evolving world.
Upon entry, students are immersed in a research-informed connected curriculum, offering a strong foundation for their learning journey.
This curriculum is carefully designed to interweave key disciplines, ensuring relevance, coherence and depth of understanding.
At the heart of Saint Ignatius College’s approach lies an explicit teaching model, which provides clarity and structure to support all students.
Through scaffolded instruction and differentiated strategies, the college empowers every learner to thrive, cultivating the skills, confidence and resilience needed for lifelong success.

By fostering critical thinking, collaboration and a love of learning, Saint Ignatius College is committed to nurturing flourishing learners who are ready to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
A rich pastoral care program, and the college’s celebrated year 7 and 8 Cura Personalis Program – care for the individual person – aims to provide care and support for the whole person as a unique and gifted individual.
An extensive variety of co-curricular activities is also available, including many opportunities to develop leadership qualities in school programs, community service initiatives, social justice programs, and Australian and overseas immersions.
