A Winter Wonderland to pop-up in Queenscliff

June 19, 2019 BY

Storm, with her mum Hannah McEwan, is ready to get her skates on at Queenscliff Harbour.

A pop-up ice-skating rink and toboggan slide is coming to Queenscliff Harbour these winter school holidays.

A fun activity for the whole family to enjoy – strap on your skates and come down and put your balance to the test.

Housed within a giant marquee, the rink and toboggan run is available for day and evening sessions.

Skating sessions run for 45 minutes; please arrive 15 minutes beforehand to allow time for correct skate fitment.

After a fun skating session, warm up with hot drinks and food at any of the harbour cafés and restaurants.

The event, which runs from June 28 to July 14, is part of Low Light, a two month long celebration which offsets the low season and Queenscliff’s bracing seaside cold by celebrating warming, immersive comforts and the arts.

Low Light and Winter Wonderland is made possible through funding from the state government.

Tickets are available through the Queenscliff Harbour website, Trybooking, the Harbour office and 360Q restaurant.

No tickets sold at the door.
