A COLLECTION of Surf Coast artists will come together for this year’s All About Art event, raising funds for the Peace of Mind Foundation.
Artists will present their works over a three-day exhibition at 22 Bells Blvd, Jan Juc, running from November 28 until November 30.
Event organiser Roe Clapman said it is an amazing collection of work.
“We have some of our old favourite artists amongst the collection this year, there’s 18 of them and then some new ones that have come on board, which is exciting.
“We’ve got a lot more sculpture this year, we’ve still got paintings, beautiful glass, jewellery… and some knitted items.”
For the first time, this year’s exhibition will also include a live auction, featuring pieces that were donated by family members or patients with brain cancer.

Entering its fourth year, the event continues to gain traction and get bigger, raising a total of $54,000 throughout its history.
All funds raised from the event will again be donated to Peace of Mind Foundation and its navigator, a highly trained palliative care nurse who helps care for people with the disease.
“It’s incredibly important because brain cancer is one of those ugly diseases that creeps up unknown to you and most people don’t survive, and if you do survive, you’re left with a terrible disability,” Clapman said.
“Peace of Mind focuses completely on the care of the patient and the family around them, so it’s making sure that their last time on earth is as comfortable as possible and with as little trauma for the whole family.”
Clapman said she loves being involved with the event and giving back to the foundation that needs the support.
“I see what help we can provide and being of able body and all these other artists around me, [are] happy to be supportive and donate their beautiful artwork and their time to be involved, blows my mind.
“It’s bringing the community together to support others that need help, it just keeps lifting me up, it’s amazing, it really is incredible what everyone puts into it, I’m thrilled to be the host of it.”
