TORQUAY’S dining scene is heating up just in time for summer with the Point Danger Beach House opening its doors.
Formerly Frontbeach Taphouse and Restaurant, the new business retains the same ownership, however, has reinvented itself and upped its food game.
Point Danger Beach House new emerges as a venue with a strong focus as it welcomes customers into the space.

“We wanted to create a casual venue that had an enhanced food offering for the Torquay community,” owner Nick Cogger said.
“It can be your special occasion, venue or your every Thursday night local.”
Part of the transformation into the new venture included recruiting executive chef Diego, who has brought a fresh focus to the venue’s menu.
The menu features food made from scratch, offering an all-day menu made up of dishes including eggplant schnitzel, prawns and mussel fettuccine, grilled market fish and more, alongside an additional breakfast menu packed with the classics.

“We really want this to be a place led by our food offering, it’s hard to get people out of their house these days and having a menu that keeps people wanting to come back time and time again is our strategy moving forward,” Cogger said.
For coffee lovers, they can also enjoy a new partnership with Ocean Grind, bringing their world-class coffee down to the Esplanade.
