Big Boom makes noise in Newtown

NEWTOWN’S Boom Gallery has expanded its contemporary studio in celebration of its eighth year of operation.

Having launched last week, Boom’s newest development, Big Boom, is situated doors down from the original space on Rutland Street.

A virtual extension of Boom Gallery, Big Boom will house monthly exhibitions, a stockroom, studios, workshop area and cater to rotational artists in residence.
It will be also be available for events and functions.

Big Boom, which is owned by Kate Jacoby and Ren Inei, is one of four enterprises under the Boom umbrella – Boom Gallery, Factory 21 and Boom Makers.
