October 25, 2018 BY

The Quay Osteo staff’s backgrounds range from gymnastics and soccer, through to surfing, horse riding, personal training and motherhood, providing extra insight into the physical demands of our active Surf Coast lifestyles.

Next month sees the first anniversary of the Quay Osteo move to their Boston Road premises.

Since that time the business has flourished, expanding the range of services provided for the Surfcoast community to include psychology, kinesiology, reflexology and nutritional medicine.

Joining the clinic in 2018 are Holly McVerry (psychologist), Jo Surkitt from Revitalize Lifestyle, Attalia Egerton of Whole Self Kinesiology and Sarah McLeish: The Nutritional Medic.

The osteopathic team has evolved to offer four highly skilled osteopaths: Dr Yolanda Fisher, Dr Brigid Sandell, Dr Cailin Mellberg and Dr Laura Walsh, who all bring their unique personal and professional experiences in sport, injury and ongoing professional education.

In conjunction with quality hands-on musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment, the Quay Osteo offers rehabilitation programs, trigger point dry needling and cranio-sacral therapy.

Their backgrounds range from gymnastics and soccer, through to surfing, horse riding, personal training and motherhood, providing extra insight into the physical demands of our active surf coast lifestyles.

“I’m incredibly proud of the team of practitioners who have been drawn to work at the clinic”, says Quay Osteo founder Dr Laura Walsh.

“We believe in more than just providing great healthcare, we value the power that collaborating with other intuitive and like-minded health professionals brings to our client’s health outcomes and the impact we can have in the Torquay community.”
