Clapton Chronicles plays Curlewis

March 14, 2019 BY

The Clapton Chronicles will perform at the Curlewis Clubhouse Soiree on Saturday 23 March for a night of classic rock entertainment.

The Clapton Chronicles will be making its way to the popular Curlewis Clubhouse Soiree on Saturday March 23, kickstarting the 2019 series with a bang.

A hub for live music, Clubhouse Soirees have become an institution at the Curlewis Golf Club for both members and visitors in the area, with an inclusive three-course meal prepared by head chef Tara Thyer an incentive for a great night of entertainment.

Taking on its 12th year of performing around the nation, the two-hour Clapton Chronicles show presents 50 years of music history in an engaging night of classic rock.

Strap yourself in to hear music from the world’s most recognised and awarded guitarist, Eric Clapton, alongside songs and sessions by ‘60s powerhouse guitarists Cream, George Harrison, The Beatles, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Steve Winwood, Blind Faith, Derek & The Dominos, The Yardbirds and JJ Cale.

Eric Clapton is the only musician to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame three times, and the only guitarist to have recorded with The Beatles as well as each of The Beatles members separately.

The evening will be a must-see for Clapton fans, with classic tracks including “Layla”, “Tears In Heaven”, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Crossroads”, “Sunshine Of Your Love”, “Cocaine”, “Wonderful Tonight”, “I Shot The Sheriff”, “After Midnight” and many more scheduled for the show.

Tickets (which include a three-course dinner) are $80 for members and $85 for guests. Drinks at bar prices.

To book, visit curlewisgolf.com.au or phone 5251 1111 and select option 3.
