TV personality Lisa Wilkinson with the 2019 Australian Women’s Health Diary out now, all proceeds go towards funding breast cancer trials and research through Breast Cancer Trials.

There’s no greater gift than giving and the 2019 Australian Women’s Health Diary is the perfect way to contribute to the health of you and your loved ones.

Every diary sold funds breast cancer trials research to identify new and effective breast cancer treatments and prevention through the Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) organisation.

For 40 years, BCT (formerly known as Breast Cancer Institute of Australia) has been conducting breakthrough clinical trial that have benefited women today.

BCT communications manager Anna Fitzgerald said more than 15,000 women have participated in trials to date – including POEMS – which resulted in women being able to undergo treatments that protect their fertility during chemotherapy.

“Their involvement has helped our researchers to make a significant impact on breast cancer treatments available today and the lives of women and their families,” Ms Fitzgerald said.

“Many people participate in clinical trials because they may receive a treatment that is not widely available yet. They receive excellent care and are monitored by a team of health professionals throughout the trial.

“They may also help researchers find a new and better treatment or prevention strategy for future generations.”

According to Ms Fitzgerald, trials “really do save lives” with an estimated 18,000 women to be diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia next year.

“This A5 diary is packed with health issues important to every woman – like breast, heart, family and mental health along
with diet exercise, skincare, menu planners and lots more.

“More breast cancer trials are needed to ensure every person receives the treatment they need to survive breast cancer.”

The diary, priced at just $18.95, is available nationally from newsagents, Woolworths and online at womenshealthdiary.com.au.

If you buy your diary now you receive free postage (for a limited time only).
