JADE ALICE AT THE DECK
Melbourne electro-pop artist Jade Alice is venturing on her first tour along coastal Victoria and will performing at The Deck, Geelong this Friday May 10. Stopping off in Fitzroy, Mornington and Saint Andrews, Jade will be joined by special guests. The music composition graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts won the 2015 Melbourne Music Bank song-writing
competition with her debut single Kick Drum and had three songs placed in the final five of the Nashville song-writing competition, SongDoor. Jade Alice will be at The Deck from 8pm-10.30pm. General admin tickets are $7 and available via eventbrite.com.au.

GET YOUR GARDENING GLOVES ON IN AIREYS
An autumn gardening workshop will be held at the Aireys Inlet Community Garden this Saturday from 10.30am-12.30pm. Attendees will be guided through how to prepare soil, including traditional and nodig veggie patches, what to plant and when, natural pest control and other tips and tricks to help your garden flourish before the winter chill strikes. HITTING THE TRACK FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
A sea of pink will stretch across the Eastern Beach Reserve this Sunday as the annual Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) kicks off in support of breast cancer research and awareness. The fun run is a beloved community event designed to acknowledge
and remember those who have suffered from breast cancer. The MDC was established in 1998 by Women in Super and has since evolved into a calendar staple for families across Australia.
