Family is at the heart of Felicity's Kitchen, with everyone jumping in to help bring the vision to life.

WHOLESOME food, a love for entertaining and family are at the heart of Felicity’s Kitchen.

The family-owned business is known around the community for its catering and take-home meals and has now embarked on a new chapter: opening its own shopfront.

Located in Torquay’s Pearl Street, the local business is a hive of flavour and passion, led by Felicity Jones with the support of her husband Rick and two daughters Hannah, who works as the operations manager, and Zoe.

Cooking for more than 20 years, Felicity said she has always loved entertaining and enjoys the happiness that it brings to families.

“I enjoy food, I enjoy different tastes, I enjoy a home-cooked meal, I enjoy a cocktail party, so that’s what I wanted to bring into people’s homes.”

Felicity’s Kitchen got its start in the family home, originating as a business that offered predominantly take-home meals while also doing some catering on the side.

Cocktail parties, corporate lunches, dinner parties and more can call be catered by the Torquay business.

When COVID hit, the team made the decision to stop the take-home meals and concentrate on the catering.

With the opening of the shopfront, comes the return of the popular family meals, to the delight of many of the business’s repeat customers.

Felicity’s love of cooking and family shines through in her food, offering lasagnas, curries, stir-fries and more in her take home options.

Making everything from scratch, she ensures the meals are fresh, wholesome and families can enjoy them together around the table.

Within the catering side of the business, Felicity is equipped for cocktail parties, corporate lunches, dinner parties, bridal boxes and more, enjoying every part of it.

Felicity Jones has been cooking for more than 20 years, pouring her passion into her food.

“The catering side is just so much fun,” she said.

“Everyone just loves it and they don’t realise we’re actually there… so it’s a lot of fun and they get so excited.

“I try and be part of the family and let them enjoy it as well.”

Catering enquires can be made online, and take-home meals can be purchased from the shopfront, with regular updates posted on Instagram.
