FRANKIE VALLI AND BEACH BOYS HEAD FOR 360Q

June 12, 2019 BY

Frankie Valli and Beach Boys are heading to 360Q in Queenscliff on Saturday June 22 to deliver two tribute acts.

A new entertainment experience titled Frankie Valli and Beach Boys will delight audiences at Queenscliff’s 360Q on Saturday June 22.

After spending many decades taking the stage with talented musicians, Melbourne-based performer Alex Kyle
decided to create a show that was an extension of his popular tribute act, “The Beach Boys Summer Holiday Show”.

“Everyone knew The Beach Boys’ happy upbeat hits from the 60s and 70s, but when it came to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, there weren’t really enough up-tempo songs for a standalone show,” Alex said.

“So, I thought why not create a combination of the Beach Boys music and that of Frankie Valli, particularly after the phenomenal success of the Jersey Boys; a documentary-style musical that dramatised the formation, success and eventual break-up of the 1960s rock n roll group The Four Seasons.”

The show hit Broadway in New York before it was adapted into a popular movie.

“This has proved to be a good decision as our current line-up of musicians Paul Hogan (lead vocals), myself (guitars and lead vocals), Brendan Scammell (drum and vocals), Jonathan Shaw (keyboards and vocals) are performing the tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons as well as The Beach Boys.

“The head-to-head interactive show, that’s comprised of two 50-minute sets, one devoted to the Beach Boys wellknown hits and the other featuring the songs made famous by The Four Seasons, continues to be fun and very entertaining.”

Queenscliff’s 360Q will host the two shows on Saturday June 22. Alex Kyle said he expects to draw a crowd.

Ticketholders will enjoy a three-course dinner plus wine, beer and soft drink as well as the two live performances. Tickets are $120 per person. To secure a spot, visit trybooking.com/BAJDC.
