KC Treecare mulches old Christmas trees for Ocean Mind

EVERY year in January, we are confronted with wilted, dying Christmas trees as a sad reminder that Christmas is
really over.

At KC Treecare, we are using this as an opportunity to share some post  Christmas cheer, turning the good vibes of Christmas into a material gain for a local cause in need of funding.

Ocean Mind is a community surf movement creating therapeutic surfing programs.

They use an evidence-based model that has demonstrated outstanding results in helping young people who are experiencing difficulties to make them feel more accepted, positive and comfortable with their lives.

It’s very important that you take all the decorations off your tree first – if there is still tinsel on your tree, we can’t take it.
