KELLY AUTY’S FLYING BACKWARDS IN HEELS

Shining a spotlight on trendsetters, gamechangers, activists and innovators, Kelly Auty’s new show is a respectful nod to the great female singers of decades past.

Coinciding with International Women’s Day, Backwards in High Heels is based on the music, lives and fashion of the ladies whose legacy still influences artists today, featuring everyone from Annie Lennox to Edith Piaf.

Auty is renowned for her exhilarating and distinctive live performances and will bring Backwards in High Heels to Flying Brick Cider House on Tuesday March 8.

Flying Brick Cider House general manager Ross Ebbels said it’s the perfect show to host on International Women’s Day.

“It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and Kelly is a passionate advocate for the role of women in music, so it is a perfect fit.”

Mr Ebbels said Auty’s lightning fast costume changes and humour and sensitivity to the women she portrays is mesmerising.

“Kelly is described as fun and fabulous – which is also the Cider House’s motto – so we think it is a perfect match!”

Dinner and show tickets are $60 and show-only tickets are $20.
