Make music in Portarlington tomorrow

PUK (Portarlington Ukulele Kollective) is hosting a big free community jam “Make Music Day” tomorrow.

Rug up, bring along your instrument and/or voice and celebrate local, live, community music and song with them at a big free community jam on Friday June 21.

Make Music Day (Fete de la Musique) is an annual June 21 local, live, community music celebration that started in Paris in 1982 to encourage the spread of free music all over the world.

It is now celebrated in more than 800 cities world-wide, including Portarlington.

Music makes the world go round, it speaks all languages.

Celebrate music in grand style with PUK, The Portarlington Guitar Group, The Portarlington Harmonica Band and other special guests at Portarlington Pub Beer Garden from 11.30am.
