Ocean Mist offers caring homely environment

Ocean Mist Aged Care is located in Torquay next to Kithbrooke Park Country Club.

Staff and management focus on ensuring that residents are provided the time and support to adapt to significant lifestyle changes and help to minimise any disruption during the adjustment period.

Ocean Mist offers residents care for a variety of needs including respite, palliative and a memory support unit, recognising the immediate and long-term individual needs of residents.

Spacious, lockable and secure single, double and adjoining rooms with en suite bathrooms available, means a couple can still have their loved one by their side.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with personal and meaningful items to create a homely feel.

Wheelchair accessible manicured gardens, stimulating indoor and outdoor activities, fresh homemade food with dietary requirements catered for and rooms furnished with personal mementos make Ocean Mist as close as possible to a home away from home for their residents.

The management and staff of Ocean Mist are committed to providing high quality, professional care to their residents and look forward to assisting you and your loved ones during the transition and on an ongoing basis.

They encourage involvement and feedback from residents, family, friends and professionals in order to facilitate continuous improvement of our facilities and services.

Early Childhood Learning Centres are now visiting Ocean Mist weekly to interact with the residents.

This has been a huge success and is an activity that is much anticipated by the community. The playground has also proven very popular with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren who visit.

During the month of October each Wednesday from 1pm-3pm Ocean Mist Aged Care will be hosting open afternoons. Come down and take tour with afternoon tea supplied. Happy Hour each Friday afternoons from 1-3pm. Entertainment provided. All welcome!
