September 15, 2023 BY

After a sell-out event at The Pier in 2022, Toast to the Coast has moved to Little Creatures Geelong.

Explore some of the best local wineries, plus guest distilleries and breweries, at this year’s Toast to the Coast.

More than 60 wines will be on pour for attendees to savour at Little Creatures Brewery as they taste their way through a selection of cool-climate wines from the Moorabool Valley, Surf Coast, and Bellarine Peninsula wine regions.

Tickets include entry to either the morning or afternoon four-hour session, with complimentary tastings from top producers for the first two hours, a delicious snack of your choice, live entertainment, and a Plumm glass to take home.

Additional tastings, and drinks by the glass or bottle will also be available for purchase on the day.

  • Austins and 6ft6
  • Bellbrae Estate

Wine Geelong executive officer Jo Wealands said that after a sell-out event at The Pier last year, the search for a bigger venue was on and Little Creatures ticked all the boxes with its combination of indoor and outdoor spaces.

“Together with our exciting new media partner, we’re excited to showcase the KROCK 95.5 Toast to the Coast at Little Creatures for our 20th anniversary of the event.

“We’ve included lots of value in the event tickets, with a delicious range of hot snacks for guests to choose from, live music and DJs in the renowned Furphy Hall and White Rabbit spaces, as well as two wine-filled hours of tastings.

“Patrons can expect to taste some of the very best wine, beer and gin from the region with the perfect opportunity to discover new favourites and support local by buying some bottles to share at home. Our producers put their heart and soul into making these wines and many still don’t realise that the quality of Geelong’s wine is as good, if not better, than many other wine regions in Australia.”

Archive Academy will also be holding 30-minute masterclasses titled, “Geelong vs The Rest of the World” for those who would like to add to their Toast experience.

Tickets are limited so be sure to get in quick!
