Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is the Bellarine Peninsula’s oldest and largest winery.

“GOOD wine can be made in the winery, but great wine is made in the vineyard.”

Chief winemaker Robin Brockett says Scotchmans Hill focuses on managing the vineyard to produce the healthiest, clean and intense fruit characters possible.

Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is the Bellarine Peninsula’s oldest and largest winery.

The French provincial inspired homestead offers a picturesque backdrop to weddings or any functions.

A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines, Scotchmans Hill has been a leading local winery for more than 30 years.

Scotchmans Hill provides fully catered experiences with premium award-winning wines to make a special day.

Scotchmans Hill Cellar Door & Bistro was recently awarded Best Food in the Bellarine region in the Gourmet Traveller WINE’s 10th Annual Best Cellar Door Awards.

A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines, Scotchmans Hill is rated among James Halliday’s Top 100 Australian Wineries.

The ability to make wines that are unique and instantly recognisable as their own, comes from a respect and admiration for the land they work on – enhancing the characteristics of the land and the fruit with minimal winemaking intervention.

With this year’s vintage well and truly over, sheep are herded into the vineyard areas, where they play an important role in the maintenance of the estate, until the vines start to flower again.

And what pairs well with great wine? Great food!
