Seafood saviours at Bomboras

December 20, 2018 BY

Bomboras is ensuring the freshest seafood this Christmas to Surf Coast residents via ICFood; head online and order your catch and it will be delivered straight from the Melbourne Seafood Centre to Bomboras for you to pick up.

Bomboras has saved the hassle of sourcing fresh seafood this Christmas thanks to ICFood, a click-and-collect service delivering the best straight from the market to you.

The brainchild of Geelong Cats players Lachie Henderson and Rhys Stanley, ICFood in conjunction with Torquay’s Bomboras, will deliver a range of premium quality seafood to Surf Coast residents.

Tom McGrath from Bomboras said there’s nowhere locals can go to get all their Christmas seafood, so adapted their ICFood collection dates to ensure a Christmas Eve delivery.

“From 5pm Thursday December 20 until 5pm Monday December 23 people will be able to order anything they want from online,” Tom said.

“The order will be picked up that Sunday night (the 23rd) at the Melbourne fish markets and ready for pick up the next day, Christmas Eve.”

From baby snapper, calamari, whole cooked and uncooked prawns, oysters, blue swimmer crab and flake/gummy there’s an extensive range of seafood available.

Tom said over the past year they’ve expanded and now have three convenient collection points, Bomboras 37 The Esplanade Torquay; East Fruit Market 11 Ormond Road, East Geelong and Harvey’s of Highton, 9-11 Bellevue Avenue, Highton.

To order go to icfood.com.au.
