Sell-out success for Aireysistible

The popular Congolese refugee choir returned after wowing crowds last year and got everyone up and dancing once again.

Over 150 people packed the Aireys Inlet Community Hall as part of Aireysistible celebrations which raised $7000 towards supporting local refugees.

The Aireys Inlet Rural Australians for Refugees (AIRAR) major annual fundraiser on July 28 was a sell-out, wowing crowds with the cultural acts on offer.

Jules Rolfe said it was a great night of entertainment and food and an important event in the Love Aireys in Winter calendar.

“We received terrific support from the community with $7,000 raised which will gotowards supporting local refugees.”
