Star of The Sea brings year-round coastal enjoyment

February 9, 2018 BY

The end of summer signals a return to reality for many tourists as they head back to the city, but for Star of the Sea Retirement Village residents, it’s just the beginning.

Enjoying the coastal lifestyle year-round, tenants love living in a smaller personalised village with easy access to Torquay’s diverse mix of shops, cafes, attractions and stunning beachside.

The luxurious two- and three-bedroom villa units of Star of the Sea come with fully-appointed designer finishes, spacious units feature gourmet kitchens with European appliances, top quality Caesar stone bench tops, two designer bathrooms with walk-in showers, gas fireplaces, private courtyards and lock-up garages.

Retirement village co-ordinator Robyn Leahy said interested parties should get in quick with a limited number of homes now available for sale.

“We encourage people to give us a call and take a tour as homes are snapped up really quickly, particularly around the holiday season when people realise what a stunning location we are in.

“There is plenty of demand, especially now we have completed the adjacent 96-bed aged care residence; as we get older, it is so important to consider our futures. There is a sense of security and peace of mind knowing a higher level of care is available just next door.”

Resident Lois moved to Star of the Sea in 2010 and said she hasn’t looked back, keeping busy with a craft group on Monday, cards on a Wednesday and indoor bowls Thursday.

Lois also said she enjoys regular visits from her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Star of the Sea Village is located at 1 Headland Drive, Torquay and is open for inspection Monday to Friday (weekends by appointment). For more information, phone Robyn or Fiona on 5264 3500 or head to vmch.com.au.
