Surfcoast Wholefoods: a haven for health enthusiasts
Qualified natural health practitioners are in store daily to help your family with advice and the dispensing of products ranging from herbal medicines to nutritional supplements.
SURFCOAST Wholefoods is a local family-owned business that fosters a vibrant holistic space nurturing health, community connection and sustainable living.
Owners Toby Jeavons and Sophia Lamb proudly stand behind Surfcoast Wholefoods as being the region’s largest organic and wholefoods specialty store and a long-standing haven for health enthusiasts since it was established in 2012.
Toby said their mission is to empower people and communities to live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
“The store strives to achieve this mission through holding community events, offering nourishing 100 per cent organic cafe food and smoothies, making available the highest quality consciously sourced products, and having qualified natural health practitioners available daily in store to support each individuals wellness journey,” he said.

The store boasts an organic cafe grounded with the ethos that real food should come straight from the earth to your plate.
Every house-made dish is crafted from 100 per cent certified organic produce and products that are found in store.
Sophia said nearly everything is made from scratch with the aim of delighting tastebuds and inspiring customers to get creative in their own kitchen with real fresh foods.
“The cafe offerings include smoothies, acais, fresh salad bowls, baked goods, house-made sweets, coffee, ceremonial cacao and elixirs – organic, no preservatives, no shortcuts, just food made with love,” she said.

Toby says customers love sipping a delicious certified organic coffee prepared by Surfcoast Wholefoods’ friendly baristas and roasted by Mikro while browsing the isles and checking out the huge array of certified organic bulk foods (waste-free shopping), 100 per cent certified fresh organic produce, certified organic meat, health supplements, protein powders, fridge and frozen goods, grocery items, homewares and more.
The store is also home to a health dispensary which is a great option when you need on the spot advice for something like an acute cold, headache, sleep issues or digestive complaint.
“We have qualified natural health practitioners in store daily to help your family with advice and the dispensing of products ranging from herbal medicines to nutritional supplements.” Sophia said.
“We have also recently opened a new wellness room above the store with private consultations available from a range of health practitioners including local nutritionists and naturopaths.”

Toby said home delivery has made it easier for customers to stay connected to organic produce.
“If you are unable to make it in store, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with home delivery of 100 per cent certified organic fruit and vegetable boxes: hand picked fresh, seasonal produce delivered to your door from the Bellarine all the way down the coast to Apollo Bay – making healthy, organic eating simple, convenient and accessible to all.”
