Toast to the Coast a wine-derful weekend

December 5, 2017 BY

Geelong’s two-day local festival Toast to the Coast was a huge success once again, with more than 5,000 wine-enthusiasts flocking to wineries across the Surf Coast, Bellarine and Moorabool Valley regions on November 4 and 5. For the 16th year of Toast to the Coast, revellers indulged in award-winning wines, fresh local produce and stunning scenery, with many offers available for both drinkers and designated drivers at over 20 locations. Owner of Austin’s & Co. and president of the Geelong Winegrowers Association Scott Austin said it was a great weekend. “Our feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and as always, we have some great feedback on how we can improve the event in years to come. We’d like to acknowledge the effort the individual wineries have gone to, to make this event the great success it is.”
